Love social media? The USCCB has a job opening for you

A couple weeks ago at the Catholic Media Conference, I met Sr. Mary Ann Walsh, RSM, the Director of Media Relations for the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB). I was really encouraged by our chat. Sr. Mary Ann shared how the USCCB not only appreciates the power of new media, but is taking steps to ramp up its social media presence. Right now the USCCB has active profiles on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and an excellent blog as well.

She also mentioned that they’re looking for a Social Media Specialist. The person will “assist in providing a social media strategy for the USCCB” and “provide ongoing support, advice, and resources regarding communication strategies for bishops and USCCB programs.”
