“God, the Universe, and Everything” DVD

by Matt Fradd

Catholic Answers, 60 minutes

God Universe Everything DVDWhere did we come from? Why are we here? Where are we going?

Everyone wants the answers to these questions. Some people have found their answers in God; others are still on the path of discovery. And some have grown discouraged—and stopped looking.

“Don’t give up!”, says Matt Fradd in his newest and most important video to date, “God, the Universe, and Everything”. With all the energy, humor, and down-to-earth realism that have made him a sought-after speaker around the world, Matt shares his own story of being shaken out of the agnostic apathy he suffered as a young adult. Challenged to find reasons to believe that life has meaning—no matter how messy or senseless or full of suffering it may get—his long search finally led him to belief in the God of Christianity, and in his Church.

Now he offers that same challenge to anyone: from teen to adult, from hardened skeptic to lukewarm believer. Don’t back down before the absurdity of a world without God. Don’t pass on the most important question of your (eternal) life. Watch “God, the Universe, and Everything” and be refreshed in your journey to the truth.

Delivered: True Stories of Men and Women Who Turned from Porn to Purity

by Matt Fradd

Catholic Answers, 160 pages, paperback

Delivered by Matt FraddDeliverance from pornography is possible—and these true stories prove it.

  • The pious Catholic man whose fairytale marriage was almost destroyed by his fierce addiction…
  • The young woman who escaped a broken and abusive childhood only to become ensnared in porn’s seamy underworld…
  • The couple who tried everything to beat the pain and shame of porn in their home…
  • The female musician who thought porn was a guy thing until she got hooked herself…
  • …and five other inspiring tales of liberation from the ravages of pornography

Delivered is proof that no one is beyond the reach of God’s healing grace.

“Matt Fradd’s Delivered fills a need within the Church like no other work has done before. Pornography is an issue that doesn’t impact only teens or males. It’s a scourge that has wounded virtually all families—and society as a whole. Through a collection of powerful testimonies, this book not only reveals why pornography is so damaging, but shows how the vice can be overcome and the damage undone.”

— Jason Evert, The Chastity Project

“These accounts of people redeemed from the pornography plague fills us with a hopeful urgency to share the good news that freedom is possible. Matt Fradd does us a great service gathering their powerful stories of hope and redemption.”

— Damon C. Owens, executive director, Theology of the Body Institute

“Matt is taking on a topic that is destroying society, pornography. It’s not enough to tell people to avoid pornography, they need a vision of life that exposes pornography for what it is, false adoration. Matt does a great job of this.”

— Jeff Cavins, Creator of the Great Adventure Bible Study

“I was a porn producer for nine years, and I’ve seen firsthand the damage it causes. We must do everything we can to win this battle. Here is a book of stories from those who have fought the battle and won. Read them. Ponder them. Pray for those sharing, them, and be freed!”

— Donny Pauling, former Playboy producer

The NEw Evangelism DVD look amazing.. We did the Catholicism at church and would love to own my own copy for home to share with our chidlren

  • janet

The DVD sounds more intriguing. It would be good to watch with a love one who is agnostic to see if this helps answer some of the questions they are struggling with.

  • John R

Sounds interesting! Would love to watch the DVD! jTr

  • Patrick D Gamble

“God, the Universe, & Everything” DVD. I’m behind on books I need to read right now, but I know a TOB speaker I would “gift” the book to.

  • Shawndra

Both look intriguing but I am very interested in reading Delivered, especially as a Youth Minister.

  • Kyley Drach

God the universe and everything looks awesome

  • JbSings

These are both valuable resources I would love to read and share. I am most interested in Delivered- for the insight it could provide me as someone who has suffered from the effects of pornography in a relationship.

  • Guest

These are valuable resources I would love to read and share with others.

  • Scott Peterson

Which looks more intriguing? Hard to say – the DVD deals directly with questions we all have (or have had), and the book deals with one of the most pressing issues of today. Both give hope for fallen man.

I’m going to say the book seems more intriguing, as there’s a power in narrative that is difficult, if not impossible, to match (which may be why scripture is so often given in narrative form, rather than in propositional statements).

  • aslide

Both of these look great but I’m more interested in the DVD. Matt is a great speaker and apologist but I usually only hear him on the radio or through audio talks so it would be cool to see a video presentation from him.

Delivered would be my choice for our King David’s Men’s group!

  • Corey Swope

As a parent these would be great resources to help discuss these topics.

  • floridatom

Looks like a great book & resource

Personally, I have kids who could probably benefit from the God, the Univers, et.. But the second is so important, no only as help but as a preventive measure.

  • Mathew

    Definitely the book!
