While I prefer the chant music myself, I’d like to point out that nuns and priests are human, like us. I’m sure they like to have fun too. I do not know the lyrics to this Gangum song (I’ve turned to listening to Catholic radio all the time so I know nothing about music and lyrics). I would say that IF the lyrics are in appropriate, maybe they should think twice about posting to FB and maybe post a dance to a more appropriate song.

I’d like to once again say they are human and do things other than pray all day. My sister’s 2nd grade teacher was a nun who was very athletic. She coached volleyball at our grade school and could dive and dig for those balls like none of us could. I never imagined I’d see a nun doing those things.

This is funny. I suspect the nuns were at recreation when they did this. To all the nay-sayers, might I remind them that St. Teresa of Avila was known to get out the castanets and dance during recreation at her convent.

Shocking. If this is an attempt to attract young women to religious life, this would be the LAST place any young, Catholic woman would want to go. How disgusting!

  Absolutely breath-taking. I am a Benedictine sister and as much as I hear this everyday, it still gives me goosebumps to hear it again. This is an example of true religious.

The video doesn’t come up for me. That way, I won’t have my worst fears confirmed of Nuns dancing a la Psy in Gangnam Style. Seeing nuns debase themselves and act in an undignified manner sure aint a reason to love nuns.
