As was rumored previously, the Bishop of my Diocese–Bishop Thomas Wenski (who also doubles as a hardcore biker)–has officially been appointed to be the Archbishop of Miami following the resignation of their current Bishop. Bishop Wenski will fit in well with the Latin community of Miami, as he has close ties to the Hatian and Cuban communities. I pray for him and his new diocese, while also praying for the new leader of our own.
