Next Thursday, according to this article, Pope Benedict XVI will publish a Letter summarizing the recent Synod on the Bible. I can’t wait to read read his reflections. Sandwiched between the Pope’s two momentous books on the life of Christ, I’m hoping this letter eventually leads to an official “Year of the Bible”. Our well-documented religious illiteracy will be refreshed by a re-dedication to Scripture.
