Weekly Giveaway (3/30)

“Find out how much God has given you and from it take what you need; the remainder is needed by others.” – St. Augustine

Because I’ve built up a large collection of duplicate books and resources, each week I giving away one or more items, absolutely free, no strings attached.

You can enter anytime during the week. Each giveaway lasts seven days, with a new one beginning each Friday. Check out a list of past giveaways items here.

A Heart on Fire: Catholic Witness and the Next America (eBook)
by Archbishop Charles Chaput

This week I’m giving away 3 eBook copies of Archbishop Chaput’s new manifesto, A Heart on Fire: Catholic Witness and the Next America (Image Books, 19 pages, eBook). The book is a prophetic call for Catholics to live their faith in the public square, and to fight for religious freedom. Here’s what I said in my review (and be sure to check out my interview with the Archbishop):

“With the recent HHS mandate, proposals to redefine marriage, and the government deciding what constitutes religious practice, our country is at a critical tipping point. Which makes Archbishop Chaput’s book so apropos. Though succinct, its timeliness, clarity, and prophetic nature make it one of this year’s most important texts.”

In order to win this week’s giveaway, leave a comment below answering this question:

How do you live your faith in the public square?

The winning comments will be randomly selected on Friday morning using a random number generator, and the giveaway will be sent out, free-of-charge, shortly thereafter to the three winners.
In the future I’ll be giving away many more books and resources–sometimes multiple items per giveaway. So check back next Friday!

Update: The drawing is closed for the week of Friday, March 30. Congratulations to JoAnna W., Joseph M., and Kevin S. for winning this week! Check your e-mail for instructions on receiving the book. If you don’t see an e-mail from me, check your spam box–apparently e-mails with “giveaway” in the subject line often end up there.
