Move "The Church and New Media" to the Bestseller table (and get a free gift!)

In most cases, there is just one way for a book to land on the bestseller table. An author must first write a compelling book, then get an abnormal amount of people to buy it, and then have critics provide good reviews (especially uber-powerful talk-show hosts).

But that’s complicated. The good news is that there is another way. Sure, it requires more subtlety and guile and it’s not for the faint of heart. But it’s a no-fail way to launch a book straight into the bestseller ranks.

The Church and New Media–now available at your local Barnes and Noble! And yes, it’s a perfect complement to the adjacent “23 Questions about HELL”.

So what’s the secret? What’s the quickest way to get a book onto the bestseller table?

Carry it over there, of course.

So here’s the deal. To launch The Church and New Media into bestseller territory, I need your help. What you need to do is visit your local bookseller (Barnes and Noble, Books-A-Million, etc.), find a copy of The Church and New Media, and artfully “re-position it” to the bestseller table or rack (extra points for sneakiness).

Then email me a picture of you next to the newly-located book (along with your address) and I’ll not only post your photo on the blog but will mail you a free, personalized signed bookplate to stick in your copy.

I’m pretty confident we can crowd-source this thing to bestseller territory.

So who’s with me?
